International activities

We are engaged in activities to promote mutual exchanges with young engineers from other countries, mainly in the Asia-Pacific region, and to offer opportunities for international exchange and training for members.

International activity result meeting

As a summary of international exchange activities in each year, we hold regular meetings of international exchange activities at the Youth Committee. It is aimed for young engineers to grasp the contents of international exchange activities and exchange and information exchange among participants.

CAFEO / YEAFEO

Every year, we interact with ASEAN member countries, participate in CAFEO (Conference of ASEAN Federation of Engineers Organizations) and Young Engineers of AFEO (Young Engineers of AFEO). Based on these, we have developed into the development of new exchanges with each country.

Japan-Korea Engineer International Conference / Friendly Soccer Tournament

The international conference of Japanese-Korean engineers has a history of about 40 years since 1971. Co-organized with the Korean Technical School Association Youth Committee, I operated a youth group meeting and goodwill football tournament from 2005. Currently, the Youth Subcommittee has evolved in a progressive manner, but the Goodwill Football Tournament has increased its members year by year. For details, please see the report of each year.

Hong Kong Exchange

FY 2007
Young engineers visited Japan from the ICEHKA (Institution of Civil Engineers Hong Kong Association) and conducted greening visits in Tokyo, technical seminars and exchange parties.
FY 2008
We dispatched three members from Japan, conducted technical and exchange meetings in Hong Kong, and established a foundation for bilateral exchange.
FY 2009
Young engineers came to Japan from the Hong Kong Process Managers’ Association in March 2010 to conduct orienteering, exchange meetings and technical tours.
FY 2010
We sent three people to Hong Kong in February 2011.

Australia Exchange

With the 2006 Japan-Australia Exchange Year in mind, we started interacting with the Australian Youth Technical School Association. We dispatched two engineers to Australia from the Youth Committee in FY 2007 and visited Japan from Australia in FY2008.
